Sunday streets missoula

Sunday Streets Missoula 2023 came back to Higgins Ave for the first time since 2019! The 1-mile route from the XXXXs to 5th Street featured Beartracks Bridge and included temporary activation stations, restaurants and local food options located along the route, fitness classes, open streets, and local businesses and organizations hosting all-abilities activities!

Sunday Streets events encourage all ages and all abilities to be active, support local businesses, and rethink how our community can be more livable. It's an opportunity to temporarily close the streets to cars and open them to walkers and rollers of all ages and abilities; allowing Missoula to experience our streets in a whole new way, encouraging community and building support for broader transportation choices.

MUSIC

"Chris Sand, AKA Sandman The Rappin’ Cowboy, has traversed the blue highways and gravel backroads of the USA for over two decades, performing his unique blend of folk, punk, hip hop, and cowboy music in basements, living rooms, barns, performance halls, and dive bars along the way"... and now he will be this year's Sunday Streets musical guest.
