The Sunday Streets Missoula route stretches along Higgins Avenue from Circle Square at the North end of Higgins Avenue, across the Higgins Ave. Bridge, to the north side of the 5th St./Higgins intersection. Broadway will remain open to East/West traffic, and 5th St. (a one-way) will be open to West-bound traffic. This route is 8/10 mile long.
The event will also include a “Ciclovia” (recommended bike route) that travels down 4th St., past the Swift Building, connecting to the Kim Williams Trail, then crossing the river under the Madison Street Bridge, and heading east along the trail through Kiwanis Park and Caras Park before connecting back to Front Street and then Higgins Avenue. This route is approximately 1.6 miles in length, and many Sunday Streets Missoula events will be taking place along the route.
